14 New K-Dramas to Watch in August 2024

Summer is at its peak and Dramaland seems to be gearing up for the second part of the year! 13 new dramas are coming out this month, and I believe we may have broken the record of the highest number of dramas released in a month. Anyway, not going to complain. We’ll start dark with some thrillers and mystery dramas before we get to enjoy sweet and fluffy romances in the second half of the month. So, what’s going to be on your watch-list?

Bad Memory Eraser

Cast: Kim Jae Joong, Jin Se Yun, Lee Jong Won & Yang Hye Ji

Plot: Lee Goon (Kim Jae Joong) used to be a promising tennis player, but an injury made him lose his self-esteem. So, he goes through a memory erasing procedure to remove all his bad memories and regain his self-esteem. Other people around him are Kyeong Joo Yeon (Jin Se Yun), he believes is his first love, his brother Lee Shin (Lee Jong Won) and Jeon Sae Yan (Yang Hye Ji).

There, he meets Ha Na Kyung (Song Ji Woo), a pharmacist and the daughter of a high-ranking North Korean official. They develop romantic feelings.
