We Are All Trying Here ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Country: Korea | Year: 2026 | Episode: 12 | Channel: JTBC, Netflix

Cast: Koo Kyo Hwan & Go Youn Jung
Plot: The story revolves around a group of people tormented by envy and jealousy, as they navigate their struggles and try to find peace. Among them, there is aspiring director Hwang Dong Man and producer Byeon Eun Ah.

Review: There are dramas made for entertainment, and others that just speak to your soul. This one falls into the second category. As always, Park Hae Young manages to showcase ordinary people, full of doubts, insecurities, traumas and simply trying to survive their daily lives. There’s real poetry and comfort in the way Hwang Dong Man and Byeon Eun Ah understand each other. Their connection can’t be described nor defined with words. Just like most of the relationships in the show. Links between characters are not resumed to one emotion, but so many that collide with one another. It’s a slow drama – so not everyone may like it – but the pace makes you experience characters’ angst, relate to their troubles and embarks you on their journey. I also loved how the film industry serves as a background, a purpose and a challenge to all individuals. All in all, this is not really a drama that can be explained, you need to watch and feel the ambiance to understand.

Sold Out On You ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)

Country: Korea | Year: 2026 | Episode: 12 | Channel: SBS, Netflix

Cast: Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Won Bin & Kim Bum
Plot:Matthew Lee is a young farmer with a warm heart. Dam Ye Jin is a top host for a home shopping network. One day, they meet and though they start off the wrong foot, they develop feelings for each other.

Review: If you’re in search of a comforting and cute romance, then Sold Out on You may be a good pick. It’s also Kim Bum’s comeback drama after 3 years, so if you’ve missed his handsome face, go for it! The storyline is basic, but well-developed. Both leads have been through a lot because of the same incident, but navigate their pain differently. It’s clear that they are still suffering and feel guilty, yet they find comfort and solace in each other. The couple’s bickering at the beginning of the drama is what I liked the most. Unfortunately, the humor and light-hearted tone faded away by the end which disconnected me a bit from the story. But it was a necessary evil for characters to grow and move on. This drama is about healing, but above all romance. So, I was more than pleased to see not one, but 3 different love lines. These were good (and funny) additions to the intrigue.

The WONDERfools ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Country: Korea | Year: 2026 | Episode: 8 | Channel: Netflix

Cast: Park Eun Bin, Cha Eun Woo, Kim Hae Sook, Choi Dae Hoon & Im Sung Jae
Plot: Set in 1999, Eun Chae Ni and her two neighbors, Son Kyung Hoon and Kang Ro Bin, get caught up in an unexpected incident and suddenly gain a supernatural power. Helped by civil servant Lee Woon Jeong, they fight against a villain who threatens the peace of their city.

Review: Why aren’t there more people talking about this drama!? It’s absolutely FANTASTIC! I think the part that I liked the most is the humor and comedy. The serious situations always turn into a joke in which these misfits argue, fight, are completely out of it, or simply don’t realize the dangers. The main quartet is just perfect. Each character is eccentric is his own way but perfectly matches the energy of his companions. Not going to lie but Im Sung Jae and Choi Dae Hoon brought me to tears (of laughter of course!). Even the trio’s superpowers serve the intrigue well. The plot in general is well-developed. There’s action and a good pace until the end. However, I would’ve appreciated to know more about the villain aka the scientist, his motivations and his past. We knew very little, making him quite linear and bland. Same for Chae Ni’s grandmother. I wished we knew more about her background. As for the ‘Wunderkinder’, they were excellent though quite pathetic in the end. Finally, some questions remain regarding the ending, but first and foremost the side effects of having powers, as it seemed like these were not impacted subjects in the same way. There will potentially be a second season, so let’s see. In the meantime, you MUST watch this drama!
